Professional Goals

Goal #1

Obtain a DTR certification

  • After completing the SDSU Didactic Program in Dietetics (DPD) in May 2021, Kassandra will study and prepare to take the Dietetic Technician examination in the Summer of 2021.

Goal #2

Work as a Dietetic Technician, Registered

  • Once Kassandra passes her DTR exam and receives her certification, she will immediately apply to open DTR positions in San Diego County.

Goal #3

Apply to an ACEND-accredited Advanced Degree Program

  • Kassandra wants to continue her education in Nutrition with an emphasis in Community and Public Health.
  • Complete a distance Dietetic Internship and take the RD exam by 2025.

Goal #4

Women’s health, lactation consultant

  • As an RD, she wants to work in a women’s health clinic that offers WIC services and get her IBCLC certification.
